I haven't been blogging lately, I know, and I plan on changing that soon. I stopped earlier this year primarily because I was a little burned out, and blogging was starting to feel a lot like work, which I never wanted it to be. Hence, the five month hiatus. But I'm feeling a lot recharged lately, so now I'm raring to start writing more creatively again.
Hopefully I haven't lost too many readers. I sincerely did miss this place.
So I left the big, corporate, extremely pressure-heavy law firm for a (no adjective yet) government job. I'm planning to enjoy the relatively slower pace until I get my bearings again. Then I will decide what I really want to do with my life. I like my new job, but something tells me this isn't going to be a long-term deal.
Ballooned to 200 pounds, which means I'm 15 pounds overweight (I'm 5'10"). Damn. Been hitting the gym like crazy when I realized how heavy I've become. And I'm turning 30 this year, which freaks me out a little bit. I still don't feel like a 30-year old honestly. I feel like I'm perpetually stuck at 21 though I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
Rereading old posts. It's weird, some of these posts feel like they've been written by a completely different person. Anyway, for those new here, I suggest the following entries, aside from my "Favorite Entries" (see sidebar), to familiarize yourself with this blog and with my style of writing:
I promise I'll publish something more coherent and substantial next time. :-)
