I know I haven't posted anything in ten million years, but work has been nothing but insane. It still is, but I figure I deserve some off time now and then. It's nice to actually be a lawyer, but a first year lawyer feels a lot like a first year anything really, and I feel like I need to continuously give everything in my power just to be able to stay on top of things, and not to drown in the ocean of stuff I have to learn, and quickly. On the one hand, I do have a fair measure of pride in being part of one of the top law firms, if not the top law firm, in the country; on the other hand, the pressure is insane, and the amount of effort one needs to exert just to keep up seems almost superhuman.
